In June, we had the privilege of hosting a wine dinner featuring Wilson Artisan Wineries. These boutique wines are limited production and the perfect addition to any dinner table. The culinary team at Laura Alberts wowed guests with renditions of classic favorites such as Smoked Salmon, Peppercorn crusted Filet Mignon and a house-made Chocolate Cherry Ice Cream Cake to finish the evening.
The full menu consisted a reception starting with Shrimp, Pineapple Papaya Salad on Fried Tortilla Chip, a First Course Salad of Boston Bibb & Arugula, Peaches, Heirloom Tomatoes, Toasted Pine Nuts, Myer Lemon Vinaigrette & Goat Cheese Snow. The second course was a delicious House Smoked Salmon, Pimento Cheese Grits, Blueberry Gastrique & a Squash Blossom followed by a third course of Tri-Peppercorn Seared Filet Mignon, Balsamic Glaze, Lobster Cake, Cajun Remoulade, Fennel Parmesan Scalloped Potatoes & Roasted Asparagus. Guests stuffed their selves into oblivion by enjoying dessert of Chocolate Cherry Ice Cream Cake with Crème Anglaise & Blackberries.
